Tendrite policy

Privacy Policy

Tendrite is designed to keep coding work local. This policy explains the limited data involved when you use the website, purchase a license, or enable Cloud Relay.

Effective dateJuly 26, 2026OperatorMichael Fillalan

Local-first by design

Your Tendrite workspace, source code, prompts, and local memory remain on your computer unless you deliberately send them to a provider, service, or destination. Tendrite does not operate a general cloud copy of your coding workspace.

Data used for Tendrite Cloud

If you sign in to Tendrite Cloud or use the managed phone relay, we process the information needed to provide and secure that service. This can include your email address, subscription entitlement, registered device name or browser user agent, device identifiers, last-active time, short-lived pairing credentials, and operational or security logs.

Cloud Relay connects an enrolled phone to a desktop you choose to make available. It is not intended as a backup service for your workspace. Do not rely on it for storage of secrets or irreplaceable data.

Payments

Paddle processes purchases and subscription billing as merchant of record. We receive the transaction and entitlement information needed to activate Tendrite Pro or Cloud. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate parts of the product, including Cloudflare for web and account infrastructure, DigitalOcean for relay hosting, and Paddle for billing. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Retention and your choices

We keep Cloud account and device information only for as long as needed to provide the service, protect it, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You can sign out, revoke connected phones, or cancel a Cloud subscription from Tendrite or Paddle where available. Revoked devices lose access when they next reconnect.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect service data, including short-lived pairing links and account-bound device access. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your devices, account, and third-party provider credentials secure.

Children and international users

Tendrite is not directed to children. If you use the service from outside the United States, your information may be processed where our service providers operate.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The effective date above will be updated when changes are published. For private privacy, account, or service questions, email support@tendrite.dev or use the Tendrite Support form. Public product feedback is also welcome on Michael's X account. Do not include passwords, API keys, tokens, license keys, payment-card information, or private source code in any message.
